Lifecast suppied and applied the prothetic makeup for “King Farouk” shooting in the the summer of 2010. We created prosthetics for 2 stages of his life to aliken the actor Ahmed El Feshawy to the penultimate king of Egypt for a film about his reign.

We had a great crew, and were delighted with the results.

Got to Dance – “Pearl & Bert”

So our task was to convince the judging panel & Davina McCall that the winners of last year’s show Chris & Wes were in fact a Morris dancing elderly couple Pearl & Bert.
A primary problem was Chris’ hair. He was very proud of his 6inch tall afro which we fitted into the baldcap and then applied the platgel pieces.
Chris & Wes’s entire transformation was filmed in our studio, followed them through the day, their preliminary auditions & tiher performance in front of the judges who were all fooled!
The boys were a delight to work with & very talented dancers.

The First Lifecasting Course whilst here at Elstree!

Winter of 2011 braught the first Lifecasting course since moving to Elstree Studios.

It was a huge sucess, with students of different ages, most with minimal previous experience & lots of complete beginners.

We defintely will be hosting courses more regularly and look forward to the next one which will be mid January. We’re sorry to all who subscribed who couldn’t get on this course, you will recieve a call for the next!

A nice quick prosthetic job (we only had one week) came to us to be shown as idents during “Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
The Zombie was sculpted by Robin Schoonraad & cast in foam. The Vampire makeups were sculpted by Tristan Schoonraad & cast in plat gel.

Silicone Stunt Gloves and Socks

Lifecast also provide stunt workers custom made gloves, socks and masks for specified stunts. They are heat resistant, flexible and can be made to look like any given character.

Here’s the latest images from Stuart Croft’s new exhibtion “Comma 39.” Lifecast provided prosthetics for the lead dancer, telling the story of love and disfigurement through interpretive ballet.
